Popcorn Friday: Be the most popular person on the playground when you help pop (11-1pm) or sell (1-3pm) popcorn. Sign up here. First Friday of the month, next date is Friday, Dec 7.

Book Fair: Lots of different roles make the book fair a success. From set-up and clean-up to cashier and sales roles, it's fun to see the kids so excited about the choices. Sign up for a slot Dec 3 through 7; you can bring your school-age kids with you to a shift.

Not seeing something that catches your eye? Reach out to our Volunteer Director Kim about your interests or availability. There will be options for team-based volunteering and more creative roles for upcoming events like Talent Show and Cultural Fair.

5th Graders Take Art Outside!

In learning about British sculptor, photographer, and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy, the 5th grade classes took advantage of our beautiful fall weather to work together to create art from the natural environment. Check out their beautiful work in the lower level halls at Grand Ridge or online here. Hats off to the Art Docents for the 5th Grade Class for bringing this lesson to life.

Box Top Success!

Thank you for making our Fall Box Tops drive a big success. We collected 10,263 box tops which means we raised more than $1,000 that can be used for playground equipment, books, computers, etc. Hats off to all the students, neighbors, teachers, and staff who got involved contributing box tops and our volunteers who sorted and counted them all!

Top classes for each grade were:

1st Grade: Bankson, 602
2nd Grade: Sethi, 520
3rd Grade: Carbajal, 427
4th Grade: Goodman, 781 Top Class!!
5th Grade: Sweat, 278

And keep clipping for our next contest in February - can we reach 11,000?? Box tops are available on many products like Ziploc bags, Kleenex, General Mills cereals, Annie's Organics, and more.
