Calling all yearbook photos!
The yearbook is under way and we need your photos! We’d love to include any photos you may have taken; they may be specific to an event (book swap, Reflections, etc.), or just candid snapshots from the playground or class time.

Photos must be:
• Grand Ridge students only during Grand Ridge-related activities (please no birthday parties, scouts, etc.)
• Clearly-labeled with the event and/or grade level of children in photos.
• Send your highest resolution (file size) image possible.
Not all submissions may be included in the yearbook. Email photos to GRyearbook@gmail.com

Cultural spotlight for January: Korea
Cultural spotlight for the month of January is KOREA. Cultural Diversity volunteers host a workshop full of fun crafts and activities, such as making chestnut tops and Korean costume origami, and cultural learning every Tuesday during afternoon recess. Find out about more things you can do with your kids to learn about the country and culture of Korea by visiting January's cultural spotlight If you'd like to volunteer to help with the Cultural Diversity group, please contact Lisa Callan at grptsavpprograms@gmail.com.

Auction Raffle Tickets!
Want to win $2,397? Currently our auction raffle total is at $4,795, and since it's a 50/50 Auction Raffle you are eligible to win half! $5 per ticket gets you the opportunity to win up to $5,000 (if tickets sell out)! What does that mean? As tickets are sold, the cash balance builds up to the $10,000 max. 50% of the cash collected goes to one winner, the other 50% will go to the auction proceeds. The drawing is 2/11/12 – AND you do not need to be present to win.

“Finding Kind” is a documentary film which has received international recognition as a vehicle for raising awareness of the effects and impact of girl against girl "crime" such as bullying, rumors, exclusion and downright mean-ness. The Kind Campaign was initiated by two young women from Pepperdine University. In 2009 they came together and decided to do something about the issue of girl on girl meanness.
