We create and foster opportunities that enrich and support
our children, school, and community.

Grand Ridge PTSA has received the following information in regards to donations

The best way for the PTSA to support those in need right now is to funnel donations to the Issaquah Food Bank. Please do not send donations, gift cards, clothing, etc. to your local school. Legally they cannot accept these types of donations and simply don’t have the bandwidth to carry out relief services. By donating to the Issaquah Food Bank you will be indirectly supporting the families that make up your local school community. As some of you might know, the Issaquah Food Bank is not accepting any personal donations but do have an Amazon wish list for the specific items they need. They would also appreciate gift cards (both grocery and gas) and cash donations if possible. The Issaquah Food Bank is preparing to potentially support community members that can no longer receive wages due to closures (restaurants, retail, etc) in the form of rent, utilities, etc. There have apparently been some scammers so please make sure to only donate directly on their website.

The best way to stay up to date with Issaquah School District news is to check their website and to be sure you receive their e-news.

With the closure of school through April 24, all PTSA activities are impacted as well.  We will update this page with information as we have it.  Thank you for your understanding as we work through this.

Before you know it, the end of the school year will be here! So take something off your to do list now by ordering your student's yearbookYearbooks must be ordered by April 30, 2020.

Don't forget PTSA Members save $5 on yearbooks! Not sure if you ordered one already or whether or not you're a member? Click on My Account and look under the Orders section.

Want to submit photos for the yearbook?  You can submit up to 5 photos here.  Photos must be taken on school property.

We started planning Grizzlies Night Out in the summer of 2019 with the intent to bring the Grand Ridge Elementary community together to celebrate and raise money for our school. In light of current events related to COVID-19 and recommendations from local government and King County Public Health on limiting large group gatherings, the PTSA board has decided that the best course of action is to cancel our event scheduled for Friday, April 3 at Pickering Barn.

Given how quickly the situation is changing, we are going to wait before we either set a new date for the event or change to an online fundraiser. We know the Grand Ridge community will still come together at the right time to support our school - and more importantly right now - our community.

We are grateful for the many generous community sponsors and donors that had already stepped up to make our fundraiser possible.  And a huge thank you to the volunteers on the event committee that have worked incredibly hard for many months to get ready for Grizzlies Night Out.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to us.

After School Movies update

Registered participants for After School Movies in March and April will receive an email about their donations and whether to apply to a future/rescheduled movie, remain a donation, and or be refunded.

We may be able to reschedule at least one of the movies for May or June and will share the news as soon as we can confirm. Thanks for your support for this fun program and your understanding of the changes. Any questions? Email Jessica Russi at jess_russi@yahoo.com

We are looking for some new people to join us for the 2020-21 school year!

Are you interested in joining the PTSA Board or Chairing/Co-Chairing a committee?  We would love to hear from you!  Click here for more information on the opportunities.  There are a variety of opportunities and the time commitment for some is a very short period of time.  There are opportunities for everyone, even if you have small kids at home or all adults in the home work full time. If you have questions or are interested in learning more, please email Laura Gaffney at grptsapresident@gmail.com.
