We create and foster opportunities that enrich and support
our children, school, and community.

Falloween is on Wednesday, Oct 23rd.  We need volunteers to help make this event fun for everyone. Shifts are only 1 hour in length so you can have fun and help too!  Sign up here

Keep collecting your physical box tops (they look like the ones in the photo above) and scanning your receipts for digital box tops

The Box Tops contest runs from October 15-25.

Every box top is 10 cents for our school.  That money adds up quickly!

For more information, check out the box tops section of our fundraising page.

Our Grizzly Garden is opening again and we are in need of volunteers to help with the garden and share with our students Thursdays during 2nd recess.  If you are interested, please sign up.  We could also use a co-chair and the garden is available for general clean up even outside of recess hours if you're interested.

The Reflections Art Contest Deadline is approaching.

All entries are due on Monday, October 28th. Learn more on our Reflections page.

Vision & Hearing screening is on Monday, November 4th.

Have your student(s) wear or bring their glasses, contacts, or hearing aids if they use them.

If you have questions or wish to opt your student(s) out, please contact our school nurse, Keri Weber at webberk@issaquah.wednet.edu by October 29th.

Also, we need volunteers to help screening go quickly and smoothly. Sign up here.

September Volunteer of the Month

Our volunteer of the month is Kristen Peoples!  Kristen is so helpful around the school, serving as room parent, grizzly gear coordinator, and taking charge of updating our reader board twice a week for the last two months.  We really appreciate her and the support she gives to our school in these ways. Thank you for all you do Kristen!

Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for a way to get more involved at Grand Ridge?  Check out our volunteer opportunities!  There are a lot of opportunities throughout the year.  Daytime, evening, a few things to do from home, and even some you can do with your children.  Even an hour or two a year is a huge help!  Make sure you've been cleared by ISD to volunteer for the 2019-2020 school year.
