Corporate Sponsorship

We invite businesses to partner with us to ensure the Auction’s success by becoming a Corporate Sponsor. Sponsorship underwrites the costs associated with the auction so that more of the proceeds go towards improving the education of our students. Sponsorship also provides a tax-deductible, cost-effective means of advertising for your business. We feature our sponsors on Facebook and the website leading up to the event and provide displays, advertising in the auction catalog and recognition at the event. Partner with us to build your business while supporting your community. You can read more about our sponsorship packages HERE. We are still accepting advertisements for the auction catalog. Deadline March 1st! If you would like to be a Corporate Sponsor and make a Corporate Sponsors Payment by credit card you can DONATE NOW.

For more information, please contact grptsa@outlook.com for details. We'd love to talk to you!

 Procurement

A successful auction relies upon families, businesses and community partners to contribute money, items or services to support the event. Here’s how you can help:

Donate an item or service and be acknowledged in our auction catalog and on the website. Individuals and families can donate tickets to sporting or other events, weekend stays at vacation homes or timeshares, create a gift basket or other experience such as a themed party at their house or cooking lessons. Families may also donate money to help underwrite costs of the event and contribute to a staff ticket to the event. To download a procurement form, click HEREDeadline March 1st!

Amazon Wish List

Don’t have something to donate, but would still like to help? We have an Amazon wish list of items needed to help with the auction. There are items needed to help us make decorations at the Hyatt Regency, and there are auction items. You can purchase items from this list using the link HERE. Let us know if you need a tax receipt!

Table Captains

Would you be interested in being a table captain at the auction?  It’s easy! Just find 9 friends that you would like to sit with you at the auction and invite them to be at your table!  If you are interested in being a table captain, join us a table captain reception on March 5th at 7:00 PM at Nancy Link's home.  To RSVP and for more information, please email grptsa@outlook.com.

More about the Auction

What is the Grand Ridge Auction?

The Grand Ridge Auction is our school’s Spring fundraiser. The PTSA sponsors this event every two years in order to raise funds to cover the costs of our children’s education which are not covered by the State or District. For example, State and District funds do not cover library books, art, or technology, and do not adequately fund science or music. Money raised at the 2018 Auction is critical to help bridge these funding gaps.

Who can attend?

The event is for adults only – Grand Ridge parents, friends, community members and staff are all welcome!

When & where is the auction event?

Saturday, May 5, 2018 starting at 5:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bellevue.

What should I wear?

The Auction will be a fun, festive, but not overly-formal event. You’ll be most comfortable in cocktail or business casual attire.

Where do the auction items come from?

Generous businesses, families, friends, and staff of Grand Ridge Elementary have donated all of the items for the Auction with a little encouragement from our dedicated procurement team.

Will all of the items be expensive?

No, there are items to fit everyone’s budget. Items will reflect our community and its wonderful diversity. The auction has items starting as low as $15 (Silent Auction) up to a few thousand dollars (Live Auction).  Whether you purchase a bottle of wine, a birthday party for your child, or a dream vacation, your donation supports all of our children!

If I don’t plan to spend a lot of money, should I still attend?

Absolutely! Everyone in the Grand Ridge community is encouraged to attend. It will be a fun evening with old friends and a great time to make new ones, whether you spend a lot of money or not. This is a perfect opportunity to build our Issaquah Highlands community and to show support for our school.
