Grand Ridge Art Docent Program

Grand Ridge Elementary offers an enriching art education program to students sponsored by our PTSA. Our Art Docent Program (ADP) is supported by a volunteer team of many dedicated parents who lead, support and demonstrate hands-on 60-min. lessons once a month in their child’s assigned classroom.

We have built a developmentally sequenced curriculum that exposes our students to diverse artists and cultures, examines elements of art and explores a variety of materials as a means of personal expression.

Our Art Docent Program provides lesson plans, supplies and our popular Play-with-Art training sessions. No experience is necessary to participate. If you are interested in celebrating art within the classroom, please contact: Angela Bizzari, grptsaartdocent@gmail.com
