Grand Ridge Art Docent Program


Grand Ridge Elementary offers an enriching art education program to students sponsored by our PTSA. Our Art Docent Program (ADP) is supported by a volunteer team of many dedicated parents who lead, support and demonstrate hands-on 60-min. lessons once a month in their child’s assigned classroom.

We have built a developmentally sequenced curriculum that exposes our students to diverse artists and cultures, examines elements of art and explores a variety of materials as a means of personal expression.

Training and support is provided to all art volunteers! We also rely on experienced docents to mentor our new volunteers in the classroom. If you are interested in celebrating art as a lead or in a supportive role or if you have any questions or feedback, please contact: Angela Bizzari,
